The constraint
A commercial LMS had been licensed and barely configured. Faculty used Drive. Certificates were a spreadsheet. The dean could not prove who completed a required module.
The work
We specified the LMS around the course and the cohort, then integrated enrollment and grade pass-back to the SIS. Content was migrated only when an owner existed. Unused portals were scheduled for retirement in the same program.
What is running
Faculty run the term in the LMS because it is faster than Drive. Completion for required modules is queryable. The next accreditation cycle pulled evidence from the same record operations uses.
